Switzerland's Indian community, estimated at approximately 16,500 by the Embassy of India, Berne, is a predominantly post-liberalization professional community concentrated around Zurich, Geneva, and Basel, drawn largely by IT, pharmaceutical, banking, and international-organization employment.
